The sustainable solution for food packaging

When food and packaging come together, quality, hygiene and safety play a major role: especially when it comes to packaging with foreseeable direct food contact. In order to meet the various requirements of the food industry, the papers should be able to be coated directly in the paper machine. The more print options, the higher the quality of the coating.

New requirements due to the packaging regulation

The new Packaging Regulation will come into force in 2022. This means that fluorine compounds and silicone coatings are no longer permitted in food packaging. As a result, the costs for plastic films in the packaging sector will increase significantly.
